I like the syncopation in the beginning. Instrument sounds work well. I think there should be something in the background using the notes E, A, C, E, starting like around :40, or at the tempo change. I don't know how to explain it right. I'd do the rhythm (pickup on four) E (1 beat), A (7 beats), C (1 beat), E (7 beats), repeat. I don't know if that really made sense, but in my head it has that in there.
